Chinese students leave for Paksitan

A Group of Chinese students from Higher education institution left here on a goodwill visit to Pakistan Monday.Led by President of Hondere College of Inner Mongolia Normal University Zhou Yushu, the 25-member delegations comprising students and faculty members will visit Islamabad and the Punjab provincial capital Lahore.“This is for the first time that a Chinese students delegation from higher education institution is visiting Pakistan at their invitation,” said President Zhou while talking to APP at the Beijing Capital International Airport before leaving for Islamabad.

President Zhou said that they will visit five top universities and higher learning institutions in Pakistan and would exchange views for their cooperation with Honder University.

He said that the delegation is not only represent the Honder University but the Chinese people and the government during our visit to Pakistan.

Prior to the establishment as a University in 2008, the Hondere University started spreading education from primary and higher school levels from 1998.

“We have most of the foreign teachers and a number of foreign students studying in various faculties,” he noted.

At present he said that there are 15000 students getting education at various levels.

Zhou further said that the University is offering admission in six disciplines including English, Engineering, Humanity, Arts, Accountancy and Video Art.

He appreciated Ambassador Masood Khan for his keen interest in strengthening Pakistan-China friendship and said that his lecture at the University a couple of months back greatly inculcated interest among the students for Paksitan.

“We have also published a book ‘Shake Hands with the Ambassador’ comprising photographs and articles by various students of the University on Ambassador Masood Khan’s visit.”
